I have 18+ years professional and commercial experience with various styles of photography. I have worked with Adobe Creative software (Photoshop, LightRoom, Camera Raw, Bridge, and InDesign) since the first editions were launched and I also have a background in teaching media technology.

I’ll show you how to read light and use location for different styles of natural light photography such as landscapes, night skies or portraits, and other commercial styles such as table top photography.

NOVICE
Total Time Investment: 2.5 hours

The novice sessions start with a 30 minute consultation on your current strengths and weaknesses and what you want to get from our coaching session, I’ll offer some tips on camera set up for the style of photography you are most interested in and then we’ll spend 1.5 hours of hands-on photography.  We’ll follow up a few days later with a 30 minute session via Phone, Messenger, FaceTime, Facebook Live or Google Hangouts for review and critique of your images. If traveling more than 100 miles one way a travel will be invoiced for round-trip mileage at the current IRS rate for mileage.

APPRENTICE
Total Time Investment: 5 Hours

The apprentice sessions start with a 45 minute consultation on your strengths and weaknesses and what you want to get from our coaching session, I’ll offer some tips on camera set up for the style of photography you are most interested in. We’ll head out to the field and spend 3.5 hours on hands-on photography. We’ll follow up a few days later with a 45 minute session via Phone, Messenger, FaceTime, Facebook Live or Google Hangouts for review and critique of your images. If traveling more than 100 miles one way a travel will be invoiced for round-trip mileage at the current IRS rate for mileage.

TECHNICIAN
Total Time Investment: 8 Hours

The technician sessions start with a 1 hour consultation on your strengths and weaknesses and what you want to get from our coaching session, I’ll offer some tips for the style of photography or techniques that you are most interested in or need help with.  We’ll spend 4 hours in the field and 2 working in the digital darkroom or vice versa. There will be a 1 hour follow-up session via Phone, Messenger, FaceTime, Facebook Live or Google Hangouts for review and critique of your images or additional help with workflow or editing. If traveling more than 100 miles one way a travel will be invoiced for round-trip mileage at the current IRS rate for mileage.
